Adeline Valentine Pond Adams (1859–1948) was an American author and art historian whose literary career focused primarily on the study of American fine artists and the history of art. As the wife of the sculptor Herbert Adams, she maintained a close connection to the American art scene, which served as the primary inspiration and subject matter for her writing. Throughout her active years, she authored and published at least seven texts dedicated to these subjects.

Adams's contributions to the appreciation of American art, particularly sculpture, earned her significant recognition from major cultural institutions. Her work was closely aligned with the National Sculpture Society, which honored her achievements on multiple occasions. In December 1930, she was awarded a Special Medal of Honor by the Society. She was further honored in 1947 as the first recipient of the Herbert Adams Memorial Medal, an award established by the National Sculpture Society in memory of her husband.
