Anne Reeve Aldrich (1866–1892) was an American writer active during the late nineteenth century. Though her life and career were cut short by her death at the age of twenty-six, she established herself in the American literary landscape as both a poet and a novelist.\n\nHer published legacy includes the poetry collection The Rose and Flame and Other Poems and the novel The Feet of Love. These works represent her contributions to late-nineteenth-century American literature before her early passing in the summer of 1892.
