Forster Fitzgerald Arbuthnot (1833–1901) was a British Orientalist and translator. Active during the Victorian era, he committed his career to the translation and study of Eastern literature, bringing these works to the attention of the Western world.
Arbuthnot's scholarly contributions as an Orientalist helped bridge cultural gaps through translation. He remained a dedicated figure in British literary and translation circles until his death in 1901.
