Thomas Archer (1668–1743) was an English Baroque architect whose work occupies a unique position in the history of British architecture. He is particularly distinguished as the only English Baroque architect of his era whose designs show clear evidence of the direct study of contemporary continental, and specifically Italian, architectural styles.

Despite the distinct international influence present in his designs, Archer's legacy has historically been somewhat overshadowed by the prominence of his contemporaries, Sir John Vanbrugh and Nicholas Hawksmoor. Nevertheless, his contributions remain a significant chapter in the development of English Baroque architecture.
