Alice Askew (1874–1917), born Alice Leake, was a prolific British novelist of the early twentieth century. She is best remembered for her highly collaborative literary partnership with her husband, Claude Askew. Together, the husband-and-wife writing team achieved significant commercial productivity, co-authoring a vast body of fiction that resonated with the reading public of their era.

Between 1904 and 1918, the Askews published over ninety novels. To reach a wide audience, many of these works were released in affordable sixpenny and sevenpenny series, making their literature highly accessible to everyday readers. This publishing strategy cemented their presence in the popular fiction market of the Edwardian and World War I periods.

The couple's joint career and lives came to an end during the First World War, with both Alice and Claude passing away on October 6, 1917. Despite the brevity of their active years, their collaborative efforts left behind a remarkably large bibliography of popular novels.
