Samuel Alfred Barrett (1879–1965) was an American anthropologist and linguist who focused his academic efforts on the study of Native American peoples. Born in Conway, Alaska, Barrett developed a career dedicated to documenting the languages, cultures, and traditions of Indigenous populations.
