Clara Barrus (1864–1931) was an American physician and author. Active during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, she balanced her career in medicine with literary endeavors.
Barrus is best known for her biography of the nature essayist John Burroughs (1837–1921). Her work documenting Burroughs's life and legacy remains her most prominent contribution to American letters.
