William Malone Baskervill (1850–1899) was an American writer and educator who served as a professor of the English language and literature at Vanderbilt University. Active during the late nineteenth century, Baskervill focused his career on higher education and the academic study of English. Through his role at Vanderbilt University, Baskervill contributed to the development of literary scholarship and instruction.
