Sir Thomas Bloodworth, whose name was also spelled Bludworth and was born Blidward, was an English merchant and politician active during the seventeenth century. He served as a member of the House of Commons for nearly two decades, holding office from 1660 to 1679.
Bloodworth is best known for his tenure as the Lord Mayor of London, serving from October 1665 to October 1666. His leadership during this time became highly controversial due to his response to the Great Fire of London. His inaction during the early stages of the blaze was widely criticized and blamed as a major factor in the extensive damage suffered by the city.
