Benson James Boone is an American singer-songwriter who rose to prominence in the early 2020s. He first gained public attention in 2021 during a brief appearance on the television competition American Idol, from which he voluntarily withdrew. Leveraging his growing popularity on the social media platform TikTok, Boone caught the attention of Imagine Dragons frontman Dan Reynolds, who signed him to his Night Street Records label. Boone's early career was marked by the release of successful singles, including "Ghost Town" in 2021 and "In the Stars" in 2022.
