Edward Berens was an English clergyman and academic who served as the Archdeacon of Berkshire during the nineteenth century. He held his archdeaconry for over two decades, serving in the role from 1832 until 1855.
Before and during his ecclesiastical career, Berens was associated with the University of Oxford, where he was a Fellow of Oriel College. He was also connected to the high offices of the Church of England through marriage, being the son-in-law of the Bishop of Exeter.
