Benjamin Franklin Turner Sr. (1873–1950) was an American public servant and politician who dedicated much of his career to local government in New Jersey. He is best remembered for his tenure as the Mayor of Passaic, New Jersey, where he worked to shape the city's administration and public services during the first half of the twentieth century. Throughout his career, Turner was elected as a Passaic city commissioner for five terms, beginning with an initial four-year term. In addition to his commissionerships, he served as the director of parks and public improvements, overseeing local infrastructure and community spaces. He passed away on May 25, 1950, leaving behind a legacy of local civic leadership.
