René Boylesve, born René Marie Auguste Tardiveau, was a French writer and literary critic whose career spanned the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Born on April 14, 1867, in the commune of La Haye-Descartes, he went on to establish himself within the literary circles of France.
