Madeline Frank Brandeis was an American author, film producer, and director active in the early twentieth century. Born in December 1897, she focused her creative talents on children's media, establishing herself as a versatile creator who worked across both literature and film.

Throughout her career, Brandeis wrote books specifically for children and also worked behind the scenes in the film industry as both a director and producer. Her life and career were cut short when she passed away in June 1937 at the age of thirty-nine.
