Ernest Brehaut (1873–1953) was a Canadian-American classicist, historian, and author. Born in the latter part of the nineteenth century, Brehaut developed a career centered on historical scholarship and classical studies, contributing to the academic communities of both Canada and the United States.
Throughout his active years, Brehaut worked at the intersection of history and classical literature. As a scholar, his intellectual endeavors focused on historical analysis and writing, establishing his reputation as a dedicated researcher of the past prior to his death in the mid-twentieth century.
