Ethel Brilliana Tweedie (1862–1940) was a prolific English author who published her work under various names, including Mrs Alec Tweedie, Mrs. Alec-Tweedie, and Ethel B. Harley. A woman of diverse talents, she worked extensively as a travel writer, biographer, historian, editor, and journalist. In addition to her written work, she was an accomplished photographer and illustrator, and she was recognized as a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society (FRGS).\n\nActive during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, Tweedie's career spanned multiple creative and intellectual disciplines.
