Lieutenant-Colonel Sir Arthur Whitten Brown was a British military officer and aviator. Born in 1886, Brown achieved historic prominence in the field of aviation during the early twentieth century.\n\nIn June 1919, Brown served as the navigator alongside pilot John Alcock on the first successful non-stop transatlantic flight. He passed away in 1948.
