Patrick George Thomas Buchan-Hepburn, 1st Baron Hailes, was a British politician affiliated with the Conservative Party. Born in April 1901, he pursued a career in public service and governance during the mid-twentieth century.
He is best known for his role as the first and only Governor-General of the West Indies Federation, a short-lived political union. He held this prominent administrative post from 1958 until the federation's dissolution in 1962. Buchan-Hepburn passed away in November 1974.
