John Thackray Bunce (1828–1899) was a British journalist and writer active during the Victorian era. He is primarily remembered for his prominent career in newspaper editorship in the city of Birmingham.\n\nBunce served as the editor of Aris's Birmingham Gazette from 1860 to 1862. Following this role, he became the editor of the Birmingham Post in 1862, leading the publication for thirty-six years until 1898, shortly before his death.
