Kathleen Esther Garman, later Lady Epstein, was a key figure within the artistic circles of mid-twentieth-century London. Born in 1901, she was the third of the seven Garman sisters, a group celebrated for their beauty, unconventional lifestyles, and deep connections to the contemporary British art scene.

Garman is best known for her lifelong relationship with the British-American sculptor Jacob Epstein, whom she met in 1921. She served as his model and muse, and the couple maintained a relationship that spanned several decades, culminating in their marriage. Together, they had three children, including the artist Theodore Garman and Kitty Garman, who became the first wife of the painter Lucian Freud.
