Harold FitzGerald "Gerry" Lenfest was an American lawyer, media executive, and philanthropist who became one of the most influential civic benefactors in the Philadelphia region. Born in 1930, Lenfest built a distinguished career spanning law and media management before dedicating much of his later life to extensive philanthropic endeavors alongside his wife, Marguerite.
Over his final two decades, Lenfest and his wife donated more than $1.3 billion to over 1,100 organizations.
