Lucius Eugene Chittenden (1824–1900) was an American author, lawyer, banker, and politician active during the mid-to-late nineteenth century. He is particularly noted for his public service during a critical period in United States history, serving as the Register of the Treasury under President Abraham Lincoln's administration.
