Reverend Lal Behari Day (1824–1894) was an Indian writer, journalist, and Christian missionary. Born in December 1824, Day later converted to Christianity and dedicated much of his life to his faith, eventually becoming a missionary himself.

Throughout his career, Day balanced his religious commitments with his work in writing and journalism. He passed away in October 1894, leaving behind a legacy shaped by his dual identity as an Indian intellectual and a Christian minister.
