Emma Louise Smith Dillingham (1844–1920) was a Hawaiian poet, educator, and civic leader who made lasting contributions to the social and cultural landscape of Hawaii.\n\nThroughout her life, Dillingham was active in community organization and preservation. She co-founded the Daughters of Hawaiʻi, an organization dedicated to historical preservation, and established the Oʻahu branch of the Young Women's Christian Association (YWCA).
