George Richey, born George Baker Richardson on November 30, 1935, was an American songwriter and record producer. He was born in Promise Land and was raised in Malden, Missouri.
Throughout his life, Richey pursued a career in music. His brother, Paul Richey, was also a songwriter born in the same town. George Richey passed away on July 31, 2010.
