Edward Edwards was a British naval officer who served during the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries. He is best known to history as the captain of HMS Pandora, the frigate dispatched by the Admiralty to the South Pacific. His mission was to pursue and apprehend the mutineers of the HMS Bounty.
