The Reverend Walter Angus Elmslie (1856–1935) was a Scottish missionary who dedicated his career to Christian mission work in Africa. He served as a prominent member of the Livingstonia Mission, which operated in Nyasaland, a region known today as Malawi.

During his tenure in Nyasaland, Elmslie worked closely as an associate of Robert Laws, another key figure in the missionary efforts of the region. Together, they contributed to the establishment and development of the mission's initiatives.
