George Allan England (1877–1936) was an American author and explorer who became a prominent figure in early speculative and science fiction during the early twentieth century. Born in February 1877, England pursued his higher education at Harvard University, where he cultivated his literary skills and academic interests. His subsequent writing career was characterized by a prolific output of adventure stories, futuristic tales, and speculative narratives that captured the imagination of his contemporary audience.
In addition to his career as a writer, England was an avid explorer, a pursuit that deeply influenced the vivid settings and adventurous spirits found within his fiction.
