Alfred Griffin Hatfield, better known by his stage names Al G. Field and Al G. Fields, was a performer and minstrel show producer active during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Born in November of either 1848 or 1850, Hatfield spent his career developing and staging minstrel performances, which were a major form of entertainment during his era.

As both a performer and a producer, Field was a key figure in the management and presentation of minstrelsy. He maintained a significant presence in the theatrical world until his death on April 3, 1921.
