Janet Fielding, born Janet Claire Mahoney on September 9, 1953, is an Australian actress and talent agent. She is best known for her work in television, particularly in British science fiction.\n\nFielding gained recognition for her role in the long-running BBC science fiction television series Doctor Who. She starred as Tegan Jovanka, a companion to the Doctor, from 1981 to 1984. After a long hiatus from the role, she returned to portray the character once again in 2022. In addition to her acting career, she has also worked professionally as a talent agent.
