Architecturally, the home is a two-and-a-half-story red brick dwelling characterized by a symmetrical exterior design. It features an irregular interior floor plan and a prominent full-width, two-story front portico. This portico is supported by six Corinthian order columns that hold up a second-story porch. The property was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980 and remains a private residence.
