Elliott Power, born Elliott Omar Power-Taiwo, is an English filmmaker and recording artist who was raised in West London. He first gained recognition in the early 2010s as a musician, blending electronic and atmospheric sounds. Power released his debut single, "Sink/Swim," in 2013 under the Marathon Artists label, establishing his presence in the contemporary British music scene.
His musical career progressed with the release of his debut studio album, Once Smitten, in 2016. The album was a collaborative release between Marathon Artists and the influential electronic label Mo' Wax. Power's work also caught the attention of prominent electronic music figures; in 2015, his tracks "Sword Souls" and "On The Windrush" were remixed by the British electronic act UNKLE. These remixes were subsequently featured on the compilation album Global Underground #GU41: James Lavelle Presents UNKLE Sounds - Naples.
In addition to his music career, Power has established himself as a filmmaker. He transitioned into directing, achieving significant critical recognition for his commercial work. In 2022, Power was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Commercial for the film Skate Nation Ghana, which he co-directed alongside filmmakers Bafic and Justyna Obasi.
