Aaron H. Forrest (c. 1830 – April 1864) was an American slave trader and military officer active in the antebellum and Civil War eras. He was one of six Forrest brothers who participated in the interregional slave trade in the United States prior to the outbreak of the American Civil War. Beyond his activities in the slave trade, Forrest is also believed to have owned or managed cotton plantations within the state of Mississippi.
Following the outbreak of the American Civil War, Forrest aligned with the Confederacy, commanding a cavalry unit. This military group was composed of volunteers hailing from the Yazoo River region of Mississippi. Forrest's service was cut short when he died in April 1864, with the cause of death attributed to illness.
