Clyde Fastlink is a high-frequency bus rapid transit system operating in Glasgow, Scotland. The system was designed to provide greater connectivity and faster journey times between Glasgow City Centre and the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Govan. It also serves several other key developments located along the north and south banks of the Clyde Waterfront.
The initial conception and construction of the transit project were led by the Strathclyde Partnership for Transport (SPT) and the Glasgow City Council. Construction of the four-mile-long (6.4 km) route began in September 2013. Following an investment of over £40 million, the system was opened to passenger service in 2015.
The transport authority contracts the operation of the system to Stagecoach West Scotland, which runs it as an extension of their existing X19 service. Additionally, the operator McGill's runs its 23 and 26 services along sections of the system's right-of-way.
