Wanda Hazel Gág (1893–1946) was an influential American artist, author, translator, and illustrator who left a lasting mark on both the fine art world and children's literature. Born in Minnesota, she achieved international recognition for her diverse artistic talents, balancing a successful career as a celebrated printmaker with her pioneering work in children's book design and illustration.\n\nGág is best known for writing and illustrating Millions of Cats, published in 1928.
