David Garnett (1892–1981) was an English writer and publisher who active during the twentieth century. Born in March 1892, he established a career in the literary world, contributing to the English creative landscape as both an author of prose and a publisher of other writers' works.\n\nDuring his childhood, Garnett was given a distinctive cloak made from rabbit skin. This unusual garment led to him receiving the nickname "Bunny." This affectionate moniker remained with him for the rest of his life, used widely by his close friends and intimate associates until his death in 1981.
