Harold Harvey "Hal" Jarrett was a South African-born cricketer who played first-class cricket in England during the 1930s. Born in Johannesburg in 1907, Jarrett eventually relocated to the United Kingdom, where he spent his later years before passing away in Pontypool, Wales, in 1983. His active career in first-class cricket spanned from 1932 to 1938, during which he represented the county clubs of Warwickshire and Glamorgan.

As an all-rounder on the field, Jarrett was a right-handed batsman and a bowler specializing in leg break and googly deliveries. Throughout his career, he appeared in fifteen first-class matches. He scored a total of 228 runs, achieving a career-high individual score of 45. On the bowling side, Jarrett took 51 wickets, with his most outstanding single-match performance yielding figures of eight wickets for 187 runs.
