Ronald Joseph Goulart (1933–2022) was an American author and popular culture historian whose prolific career spanned several decades. Known for his versatile contributions to science fiction, fantasy, and mystery, Goulart was a highly adaptable writer who produced numerous original novels, novelizations, and tie-in works. He was particularly recognized for his lighthearted, satirical approach to science fiction, often infusing his narratives with humor and social commentary.
Throughout his career, Goulart wrote under a vast array of pseudonyms to accommodate his high volume of output across different genres. Among his many pen names were Kenneth Robeson, Con Steffanson, Chad Calhoun, R. T. Edwards, Ian R. Jamieson, Josephine Kains, Jillian Kearny, Howard Lee, Zeke Masters, Frank S.
