David Grewe is a former American collegiate baseball coach and sports technology entrepreneur. Born in 1976, Grewe established a prominent career in college athletics, serving as the head baseball coach at Michigan State University and the associate head coach at Louisiana State University (LSU). A highlight of his coaching career came in 2009, when he won the National Championship in Omaha, Nebraska, with the LSU Tigers. Over his coaching tenure, he also served as the head coach at Milligan College and held assistant coaching positions at the University of Notre Dame, Central Michigan University, and the University of Chicago.\n\nAfter departing from collegiate coaching, Grewe transitioned into the business and technology sectors. In 2019, he returned to South Bend, Indiana, to begin working as a manufacturer's representative in the recreational vehicle (RV) industry. Beyond this role, he has focused on entrepreneurial ventures within sports administration. He founded his own company and launched iRecruit1440, a platform dedicated to sports leadership. Additionally, he developed RecruitsIQ, a specialized sports technology software platform that compiles college athletic program data, historical trends, and recruiting patterns, utilizing a matching algorithm to assist prospective student-athletes in their recruitment journeys.
