Caroline Rose Harvey, born in 2002, is a highly accomplished American ice hockey defenceman who plays for the University of Wisconsin and the United States women's national ice hockey team. Widely regarded as one of the premier defensive players in the world, Harvey made her Olympic debut at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing at just nineteen years old, earning a silver medal as the youngest member of the American roster. Her international career is distinguished by multiple accolades, including winning gold medals at the 2023 and 2025 World Championships, alongside three silver medals from 2021, 2022, and 2024.

Harvey's impact on the ice is underscored by her historic offensive contributions from the blue line. At the 2023 World Championship, she led the entire tournament in scoring with 14 points, becoming the first skater to lead the United States in both points and ice time at a major international tournament. Her exceptional play earned her the title of Best Defenseman at both the 2023 and 2025 World Championships, and she has been selected to three World Championship All-Star teams.

At the collegiate level, Harvey has enjoyed a dominant career with the Wisconsin Badgers, securing three NCAA national championships in 2023, 2025, and 2026. She has rewritten the program's record books for defensemen, setting a single-season record with 63 points during her junior year and becoming Wisconsin's all-time leading scorer among defenders with 137 career points.
