Jennie Hallam-Peel is a former debutante best known for her modern revival of the Queen Charlotte's Ball, a historic British debutante event. Originally founded in 1780 by King George III as a birthday celebration for his wife, Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Strelitz, the ball historically functioned as a fundraiser for the Queen Charlotte's and Chelsea Hospital. Although the annual tradition persisted long after the Queen's death in 1818, it faced significant criticism from the British royal family during the 1950s and 1960s, ultimately folding in 1976.

In the twenty-first century, Hallam-Peel revived the defunct institution, redirecting its core mission. Rather than focusing solely on introducing young women into high society, she restructured the event to prioritize teaching practical business skills, networking, and etiquette, alongside fundraising for various charities. The contemporary event still honors its eighteenth-century roots, maintaining the tradition where presented debutantes curtsey to a large birthday cake in honor of the ball's original purpose.
