Mary Hayden Pike (1824–1908) was an American writer active during the nineteenth century. Born Mary Hayden Green, she published her literary works under multiple pen names, most notably Mary Langdon and Sydney A. Story, Jr.\n\nPike's career reflects the historical practice among women writers of her era who adopted pseudonyms to publish their work. Despite the limited surviving details of her personal life, her contributions remain part of the history of nineteenth-century American literature.
