William Henry Helm (1860–1936) was an English writer and critic active during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. He established a reputation for producing well-reviewed works of non-fiction that spanned literary analysis and historical commentary.
Among his most notable publications is the 1909 study Jane Austen and her Country-House Comedy, which examined the social dynamics and settings of Austen's fiction. Helm followed this with other non-fiction projects, including his 1921 book Homes of the Past, which explored historical domestic architecture and heritage.
