Charles Hemstreet
Charles E. Street was an American physician, college football player, and coach who served as the head football coach at Monmouth College and Springfield College.

Charles E. Street was an American physician, college football player, and coach active during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Born in Lee, Massachusetts, Street pursued his higher education at Williams College, graduating in 1896, before attending the University of Michigan Medical School. During his time at Michigan, he played college football as a starting quarterback for the Wolverines during the 1898 and 1899 seasons.\n\nFollowing his collegiate playing career, Street transitioned into coaching and medicine. He served as the head football coach at Monmouth College in Illinois in 1902, and later coached at Springfield College (then the Springfield YMCA Training School) from 1904 to 1906. Alongside his athletic endeavors, Street established a long-standing medical career, practicing medicine for forty-seven years in Springfield, Massachusetts, until his death in 1950.
