Allan Howard Davis is an Australian former professional road racing cyclist who competed internationally at the elite level. Born on July 27, 1980, in Ipswich, Queensland, Davis began his competitive cycling journey at the young age of ten. His development in the sport was aided by the Australian Institute of Sport, where he was a scholarship holder before turning professional in 2002.
Throughout his professional career, Davis was highly regarded for his specialized sprinting ability. He competed for several prominent cycling teams, concluding his professional career with the Australian UCI ProTour team Orica–GreenEDGE.
Athletic talent runs in his family, as his brother, Scott Davis, is also a competitive cyclist. Over the course of his career and beyond, Davis has maintained residences in both Bundaberg, Queensland, and Spain.
