Francis Lascelles "Frank" Jardine (1841–1919) was a Scottish-Australian pioneer who was at the forefront of European exploration in Australia. His efforts were primarily focused on the Far North Queensland area, specifically within the Cape York Peninsula and the Torres Strait regions.
As a pioneer of these northern frontiers, Jardine's activities helped shape the European understanding and mapping of these remote Australian geographical areas during the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
