John Cordy Jeaffreson (1831–1901) was an English novelist and writer of popular non-fiction. Active during the nineteenth century, Jeaffreson contributed to the Victorian literary landscape through both his creative fiction and his accessible non-fiction works.
In addition to his writing career, Jeaffreson engaged in other professional pursuits. He spent periods of his life teaching and also served as an inspector of historical documents, a role that involved the examination and cataloging of archival materials.
