John Kelman is a Barbadian boxer who represented his nation in international competitions during the late 1990s. Born on September 30, 1968, Kelman competed primarily in the featherweight division, earning selection for the Barbadian national team at major global sporting events.

Kelman is best known for his participation in the 1996 Summer Olympics. During the tournament, he competed in the men's featherweight event, where he faced János Nagy of Hungary in his opening bout. After the referee made the decision to stop the fight, Kelman reacted angrily by throwing one of his gloves. This action led to a subsequent one-year ban from amateur boxing. Following the suspension, Kelman returned to represent Barbados at the 1998 Commonwealth Games.
