Iman Asante Shumpert is an American professional basketball player who has competed for multiple franchises in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets before being selected by the New York Knicks with the 17th overall pick in the 2011 NBA draft. Over his professional career, Shumpert has played for the Knicks, Sacramento Kings, Houston Rockets, and Brooklyn Nets.\n\nShumpert's career highlights include winning an NBA championship in 2016 after being traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2015. Outside of basketball, he participated in and won season 30 of the television competition Dancing with the Stars in 2021 alongside professional dancer Daniella Karagach, marking the first time an NBA player won the show's finale.
