John Coulson Kernahan (1858–1943) was an English novelist who was active during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Born on August 1, 1858, he established himself within the literary landscape of his era, living and working until his death on February 17, 1943.
Kernahan is best remembered for his book God and the Ant, which achieved extraordinary commercial success. The publication became a major bestseller, ultimately selling more than a million copies.
